Transition Management

What is Transition (or Change) Management?

Transition management's goal is to minimize the disruptions caused by significant changes and to enhance the organization's ability to achieve and sustain new ways of operating. It is a critical competence in ensuring that changes lead to the intended benefits and help the organization move forward more effectively and avoid unnecessary (and very costly) delays or missteps.

When is it needed?

Are you moving studio locations while still needing to produce content or assets without disruption? Are you building a new studio in another city, state or country and need to perfectly align all technical and aesthetic deliverables (again) without disruption to your ongoing production? Are you transitioning from an agency provider to an in-house operation and need a smooth hand-off that doesn’t disrupt the flow of new assets? Or the opposite, moving your creative operations to an agency and want to ensure brand authenticity and technical specifications are met or elevated? These are only a few examples, but whichever one you’re facing, often your internal resources are stretched too thin to properly & thoroughly manage this change, or no one in the organization has experience in such matters.
